Chocolate and Vanilla Bean Shake

A cool and refreshing dessert on hot summer days that uses frozen bananas instead of ice cream and is flavored with real vanilla bean and cocoa powder.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, frozen
  • 1 1/2 cup Homemade Nut Milk or store-bought plant-based milk
  • 4 dates
  • 1/2 vanilla bean
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon or your favorite spice and serve.

Notes: You may use 1/2 teaspoon of non-alcoholic vanilla extract in place of the vanilla bean. You may use carob powder instead of cocoa powder for a caffeine-free version of the shake.
